Moist Heat, Home Care - Lanier Chiro


Recommendations for Home Care,
MOIST HEAT
  • NEVER ever use DRY HEAT!  It will dry out the muscles and ligaments making them more fragile and painful.
  • Use moist heating pad, warm towels, water bottle, or a warm shower.
  • 10 - 15 minutes on, then 30 - 60 minutes off.
  • Use moist heat at least 4 to 5 times per day.
  • Do not sleep with moist heat.
